Print & Electronic Publications

Caribbeana Communications provides information through its print and electronic publications. Catch the Triple E Movement through our Journal, E-Newsletter and upcoming publication projects.  This division highlights and captures many of the richness of Caribbean arts, history, and society through the media lens of journalist, Von Martin, radio interviewees, fellow Caribbean journalist, and scholars. We also showcase CCI as an organization through our quarterly publication, the C-Spot.

Journal: Then & Now

Caribbeana Communications Journal: Then & Now is CCI’s premiere journal. The focus for this journal is based on postcolonial studies, with articles, essays and creative works centering on contemporary postcolonial literature, theory, culture and history.  It is produced on an annual basis.

This journal is committed to facilitating the exchange of ideas among scholars worldwide in regards to Caribbean affairs and its Diaspora. It is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes scholarly articles and occasional creative works from diverse fields including politics, literature, sociology, and religion. The journal also reviews recent publications in Caribbean studies and explores the acculturation of Caribbean people in North America and around the world.

E-Newsletter

C-Spot is an annual e-newsletter that will begin disseminating on a quarterly basis beginning January 2012. The e-newsletter features articles and resources designed to increase awareness of Caribbean Culture in its entirety.
