Vonulrick "Von" Martin founded Caribbeana Radio Services in 1975 and first aired in 1977. Today, he has a strong team that supports the production of his weekly radio program.

Born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and residing in the United States (Washington, DC Metropolitan area) for more than three decades with his family he has cultivated a culture by using his given talent and adoration for radio.

Born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and residing in the United States (Washington, DC Metropolitan area) for more than three decades with his family he has cultivated a culture by using his given talent and love for radio.  Von is a historical authority on the State-of-the-Arts of the Caribbean, Africa and the Americas.  He is the venerable dean of Caribbean Communications.  He defines Caribbean music of past and present generations as a cultural expression of life.  He is highly regarded as the Ambassador in providing and satisfying the needs of people from the Caribbean, keeping them informed through their music and events happening locally and nationally. Von Martin is an authority who has substance and style to his work. His programs are informative, inspiring and innovative while staying in tune to his public.
